The upcoming launch of the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G, in India has been officially confirmed, scheduled for April 8th at noon IST. These smartphones, previously. Announced to be available on Amazon will be offered in a range of colors. Samsung has also revealed some details about both devices, including their processors, cameras, displays, batteries, and charging capabilities. It’s worth noting that these phones were recently introduced in the market.
The All New Galaxy M55 5G and M15 5G
The Galaxy M55 5G will be released in Denim Black and Light Green color options while the Galaxy M15 5G will be available in Blue Topaz, Celestine Blue, and Stone Grey variants. The Indian variant of the Galaxy M55 5G will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and feature a 6.7-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It will include Vision Booster technology to improve screen visibility under sunlight conditions and a 5,000mAh battery supporting fast wired charging up to 45W.
In terms of photography capabilities the Galaxy M55 5G will come equipped with a triple rear camera setup comprising a primary sensor of 50 megapixels with optical image stabilization (OIS) along, with a front camera also boasting a resolution of 50 megapixels.
The upcoming model will include functions such as Nightography, Image Clipper, and Object Eraser. In contrast, the Galaxy M15 5G is set to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, a 6.5-inch Super screen, and a triple rear camera system with a 50-megapixel lens. It is expected to run on a 6,000mAh battery that can last for two days on a charge.
Both models will feature Samsung’s Knox Security, while the Galaxy M55 5G will additionally come with the Samsung Wallet feature. Leaks suggest that the Galaxy M55 5G could start at ₹26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant with higher memory configurations priced at ₹29,999 and ₹32,999, respectively. The Galaxy M15 5G is expected to be priced at ₹13,499 for the 4GB + 128GB option and ₹14,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant.
