Gabriel Martinelli has signed a new contract with Arsenal that will keep him at the club until 2027. There is also an option for another year included in his deal, which can be exercised later on.

The 21-year-old has been very impressive this season, and has earned a regular starting spot under Mikel Arteta. He has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 19 Premier League games, and is showing remarkable potential to develop into a top player.

“We’re delighted Gabi has signed a new long-term contract. Our supporters see his quality and energy every single time he puts on the shirt and he’s the same every day in training, with his hard work and positive values,” Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said about the youngster’s new deal.

“Gabi is still very young, so we know there’s still much more to come from him and it’s great that we’ll be on this journey together. We’re now excited to continue to develop his huge talent and look forward to seeing him perform with Arsenal in the years to come.”

Gabriel Martinelli came through the ranks for Brazilian club Ituano, and moved to North London in 2019. The winger has made 111 appearances for Arsenal over the course of his time with them. And he is only going to have more opportunities with the kind of performances he is putting in.
