G.SKILL recently launched new extreme-speed DDR4 memory kits that can go up to 4400 MHz and with a low latency of CL17-18-18-38. These RAMs fall into the company’s Trident Z Royal family and will be available in 8GB and 16GB modules.
To make these memory modules, G.Skill has utilized Samsung B-die ICs and the company claims to have designed it for the latest Intel Z490 platform to achieve higher performance for gaming and content creation.
G.SKILL did really test and validate, it installed 2 x 16GB kits of the DDR4-4400 CL17-18-18-38 memory on the MSI MPG Z490 GAMING PLUS motherboard with an Intel Core i5-10600K processor. The memory kits were also tested on the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XII FORMULA motherboard with the Intel Core i9-10900K processor.
A table below tells us the specifications of the new G.SKILL Trident Z Royal 32GB (16GBx2) DDR4-4400 CL17 capacity kits.
These Intel aimed RAMs will be available via G.SKILL worldwide distribution partners in Q3 2020 but no words on pricing as for now.
