G.Skill announces its Trident Z5 and Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 memory lineup designed for Alder Lake

G.Skill is known for their hardware’s which the company manufactures for PC’s and just recently the company announced their new DDR5 memory lineup, it will feature the Trident Z5 and Trident Z5 RGB.

The RAMs are designed to compete against the best RAM available on the market, and will be designed for Intel’s Alder Lake platform and built to run at speeds of up to 6400MHz. the new DDR5 modules feature a much more sleek and smooth exterior shape, compared to previous Trident Z models, and the heatsinks are made out of brushed aluminum and come in either black or silver.

The company is providing the users with two color options in the form of RGB and non-RGB variants. In the RGB models, the memory modules will be featuring a lightbar that will reside on top of the heatsink, which seems to be similar to the previous Trident Z models.

Users will reportedly be able to get three memory frequency configurations for the new Trident Z5s, ranging from 5600MHz to 6000MHz, and 6400MHz. Each of the frequencies can further be configured with either CL40 timings or faster CL36 timings. All kits will come in a 32GB (2x16GB) dual channel kit configuration.

These new RAMs being launched are mainly due to the upcoming Alder Lake processors, as the new 12th generation lineup will be the first line of processors to feature support for the DDR5 memory modules. The worldwide availability of RAM modules will start sometime in November of this year.
