## What Happened in Episode 8?

The episode picks up the morning after Colony House’s brutal night — Roger twice dead, Kenny barely alive, and everyone running on fear and fumes. **Fatima’s Condition Is Critical** — After her terrifying psychic link with Smiley in Episode 7, Fatima is now paying a physical price. She developed varicose veins all over her stomach, and when Kristi investigates at the clinic, she discovers that with Fatima’s current blood pressure and pulse, she shouldn’t even be alive. More alarmingly, Fatima herself raises the possibility that she may be turning into one of the creatures — a fear that hangs over the episode like a storm cloud.

**Boyd and Jade’s Bone Plan** — Jade comes up with a way to extract the children’s bones from the cavern, though it comes with a warning of potential casualties. The plan to locate the Anghkooey children’s bones and give them a proper ritualistic burial remains their best hope of breaking the town’s curse.

**The Man in Yellow Confronts Tabitha** — This is the moment the season has been building toward. After Sophia steals the suit from Boyd, she lures Tabitha to the RV for a confrontation. The Man in Yellow confesses to Jim’s murder and acts impressed with Tabitha and Jade’s progress in saving the children. He informs Tabitha that he doesn’t intend to kill her yet — he wants to see how far she and the rest of the group get toward breaking the curse. It’s a chilling, game-changing scene that reframes everything.
