Imagine a small American town where no road leads out and the forest wakes up after dark. That’s the premise of **From**, the horror series that quietly became a cult favorite. Now it’s coming to Netflix, and you’ll want to start before it disappears.

## What Is From About?

The show follows the residents of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps everyone who enters. Escape seems impossible, and when night falls, terrifying creatures emerge from the surrounding forest. Boyd, the town’s de facto sheriff, leads the cast alongside Catalina Sandino Moreno and Eion Bailey.

Fans of mystery-box storytelling will feel at home. Executive producers Jeff Pinkner and Jack Bender previously worked on *Lost*. Read more on the [From TV series Wikipedia page](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/From_(TV_series)).

## Why Netflix, and Why Now?

It looks like a smart promotional play. Dropping the back catalog on Netflix a few months before the final season is a tried-and-tested way to grow an audience. The series has earned that attention: it became the most-watched series in its network’s history.

## Don’t Wait Too Long

These licensing deals are short. Netflix’s earlier Bond stint in the US lasted just a few months, and many other titles were on one-year licenses. So if you plan to binge, start soon. ## When Will Season 5 Arrive?

Not on Netflix anytime soon. Season 5 started production on July 6, 2026, and is scheduled to wrap on November 27, 2026, ahead of a 2027 premiere on MGM+. [whats-on-netflix](https://www.whats-on-netflix.com/news/from-seasons-1-4-netflix-release-date/)
