Twelve strangers are standing at the edge of something that could change everything — and someone who’s already crossed that line just told them so. Former *Bigg Boss Malayalam* contestant Riyas Salim showed up to remind this season’s Agnipareeksha finalists exactly what’s waiting on the other side.

## What Riyas Salim Said?

Speaking directly to the contenders competing for a spot in [Bigg Boss Malayalam](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bigg_Boss_(Malayalam_TV_series)) Season 8, Riyas didn’t dress it up — he told them plainly that the show has the power to transform a life. “When you enter the Bigg Boss house as a commoner, trust me, your lives are gonna change. Technically, I was also a commoner when I entered the house. To be honest, my life has changed in so many ways,” he said, adding that he couldn’t wait to see their own journeys unfold the same way.

## Why His Words Carry Weight

Riyas isn’t just any past contestant — he entered Season 4 as a wildcard and became one of that season’s most talked-about personalities, known for outspoken gameplay and memorable moments, including his role in the events around a fellow contestant’s expulsion.

## What Is Agnipareeksha?

Agnipareeksha is the pre-show selection process for *Bigg Boss Malayalam* 8, where commoners from the public compete through rounds testing personality, teamwork, and pressure-handling ability. Since Season 5, the franchise has featured commoner contestants alongside celebrities — a format shift that’s made stories like Riyas’ resonate even more with hopefuls entering from outside the entertainment industry.

## What’s Next for the Finalists

The 12 remaining Agnipareeksha contenders now depend entirely on public votes to secure their place in the *Bigg Boss Malayalam* house. Whoever draws the strongest viewer support will get the chance to begin their own journey on the show — one that, if Riyas’s experience is any indication, could reshape their life well beyond the cameras.
