Trainers, mark your calendars — Saturday is about to get a lot icier. [Pokémon GO](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Go) has confirmed its June 2026 Community Day, and this time the spotlight belongs to Frigibax, the Ice Fin Pokémon that’s about to flood parks, malls, and campuses across 47 Indian cities.

If you’ve been saving Stardust and clearing your storage, this is the Community Day to actually show up for. Here’s everything you need to know, minus the fluff.

## When and Where

The event runs **Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. IST**, with Trainers gathering in iconic spots like Bengaluru’s Cubbon Park, Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, Delhi’s Lodhi Garden, Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium, and dozens of other parks, malls, and campuses nationwide — from Agartala to Vadodara. Check your local Trainer community groups for the exact meetup spot nearest you.

## Frigibax: Overview

| Detail | Information |

| **Time** | 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM IST (bonuses till 9 PM) |

| **Evolution Reward** | Baxcalibur with Glaive Rush |
| **Special Research Cost** | ₹59 |

## Why Frigibax Is Worth the Hype

Frigibax will show up far more often in the wild during the event window, and lucky Trainers might stumble onto a Shiny version or one sporting a Special Background. The real prize, though, is timing your evolution right: evolve Arctibax into Baxcalibur during the event or within four hours after, and you’ll land a Baxcalibur that knows **Glaive Rush** — a hard-hitting Charged Attack that deals 105 power in Gyms and raids, or 90 power plus a Defense drop in Trainer Battles.

## Bonuses Worth Planning Your Day Around

Community Day isn’t just about one Pokémon — it’s about stacking bonuses while everyone’s out playing together. Expect 3× Stardust and 2× Candy for catches, a better shot at Candy XL for Trainers level 31+, three-hour Incense, and Lure Modules that stretch to a full hour and may pull in Frigibax themselves. Trading also gets sweeter, with two Special Trades allowed for the day and a 50% Stardust discount on all trades — both active until 9 p.m. local time, well past the main event window.

For Trainers who want the extra grind, the ₹59 Special Research ticket unlocks three guaranteed Special Background Frigibax encounters, bonus catches, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. You can even gift a ticket to a Great Friend or higher — just tap the ticket in the shop and hit Gift instead of Buy.

One small reminder before you head out: stay aware of your surroundings, follow local safety guidelines, and maybe bring a power bank — three hours of catching adds up fast.
