The Spanish keeper has rejected two offers made by Brentford to renew his contract. As a result, the club has accepted the fact that he will be on his way out this summer.
Freiburg goalkeeper Mark Flekken has been identified as the replacement for David Raya. He has a €13 million release clause in his contract which will be triggered by Brentford when the season ends. The 29-year-old has kept 12 clean sheets in the league this season, and has put in some eye-catching performances over the last two seasons. He is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Bees in the coming days and the transfer will be confirmed soon.
