Guillermo del Toro’s *Frankenstein: The Reborn Cut* is finally here, restoring a brutal scene James Cameron once forced him to cut. The sequence features Victor killing his father, Leopold. While Cameron argued it ruined Victor’s relatability, del Toro finally brings his original vision to life. Available exclusively on the new Criterion 4K release, this version adds depth, darkness, and essential narrative history.
