France have named their 25-man squad for the 2024 European Championships, with N’Golo Kante earning his first call-up since 2022. The former Chelsea midfielder moved to Al Ittihad, but has been fit for the entire season, which is why manager Didier Deschamps chose to call him up once again.
The Premier League’s Michael Olise, Axel Disasi, Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto have not been called up. In spite of UEFA allowing 26 players to be named for the tournament, Deschamps has chosen to name 25 in total.

This could be the last call-up for Olivier Giroud, with the iconic striker set to move to LAFC in the MLS after this season. And with several other French strikers available, this edition of the Euros will likely be the last for the country’s top scorer.
France are heading into the tournament as one of the favorites to win, and their squad certainly has enough quality to get the job done. After missing out on a second consecutive World Cup by the smallest of margins, Les Bleus will be eager to bounce back with silverware this summer in Germany.
