The architect behind a legend is gone. Jorge Messi, father and longtime agent to Lionel, has passed away at 68 in Rosario following a private battle with illness.

From securing life-changing growth treatments in Barcelona to managing eight Ballon d’Or campaigns, Jorge’s vision defined modern football history. The global sports community honors the man who turned a young prodigy into royalty.
