Flipkart advances Big Billion Days sale to counter Amazon, now starts on 3rd October

We were getting rumours from our partners that Flipkart could eventually advance its annual Big Billion Days sale to counter Amazon’s Great Indian Festival that starts on 4th October.

Now, Flipkart has confirmed to reschedule the sale to 3rd October, one day prior to Amazon’s annual sale. We know Big Billion Day Sale is the biggest sale of the year and this tactical move should help Flipkart somewhat and we knew it would do this.

So, as confirmed now, Flipkart’s biggest annual sale will be the longest sale ever, lasting for 7 days and that’s a whole week of getting discounts and offers on products. The sale will be prior to the Durga Puja, Navaratri and Dusshera festivals, a tactical move as Indians favour buying more products before the festive season.

Also, like every year, there will be special bank benefits from Axis and ICICI, along with Flipkart’s other offers like the Smart Upgrade program, Exchange, and other stuff. The majority of the deals are yet to reveal but to make things more exciting; the platform lists a few that mainly applies to a vast range of products.
