Everything You Need to Know about Flipkart’s Big Billion Days Sale

As a prelude to The Big Billion Days, Flipkart is set to commence the festive season with its upcoming Sale Price Live (SPL) event in the following week. Sellers are given the opportunity to present their goods at competitive pricing on The Big Billion Days.

Apart from the expansion of its seller network, Flipkart has introduced an AI-powered cataloging system. This system helps to improve the quality of any product image in order to match Flipkart’s standards, providing buyers with a seamless and visually pleasing showing experience.

Rakesh Krishnan, Flipkart’s Vice President and Head of Marketplace, stated the company is trying to support and encourage suppliers. He mentioned that Flipkart recently concluded a series of nationwide Seller Conclaves, drawing participation from over 4,500 seller entrepreneurs.

Flipkart’s Seller Hub organized a series of seller conclaves in major cities including Delhi, Surat, Jaipur, Agra, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata in preparation for the 10th edition of The Big Billion Days. The aim of these meetings was to aware merchants of the knowledge and resources they needed to succeed during this season.

In related news, Flipkart’s Shopsy, a social commerce platform, is gearing up for its third Grand Shopsy Mela. This event is specifically targeted at customers in Tier II and III towns and cities and commenced on September 12. It covers a broad range of needs, including clothes, accessories, beauty products, and electronics.

Building on the achievements of previous editions, Shopsy plans to introduce 194 verticals, focusing on low-ticket items often overlooked in the e-commerce landscape. The growth of Flipkart’s seller base and the company’s innovative efforts indicate its dedication to delivering a seamless and satisfying shopping experience, not just during The Big Billion Days but also in the future.
