Two very different Friday dramas, two very different wins. While “Flex x Cop 2” quietly notched its best numbers yet, [MBC](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munhwa_Broadcasting_Corporation)‘s “A Bona Fide Killer” is closing out its first half exactly where it started — at No. 1.

## The Numbers, Side By Side

According to Nielsen Korea, here’s how the August 21 ratings shook out:

| Drama | Nationwide Rating | Key Highlight |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Flex x Cop 2 | 6.2% | New season-high for Season 2 |
| A Bona Fide Killer | 9.7% | Most-watched miniseries of the night |
| A Bona Fide Killer (ages 20–54) | 3.7% | Top-rated program overall in this demo |

## Why This Matters for Flex X Cop 2?

A 6.2% rating might sound modest next to A Bona Fide Killer’s numbers, but for “Flex x Cop 2,” it’s a personal best — a sign the action-comedy sequel is finally finding its rhythm as the season progresses. Meanwhile, “A Bona Fide Killer” isn’t just winning its timeslot against Flex x Cop 2; it’s beating every other program airing that night among the coveted 20-54 demographic, the group advertisers care about most.

With “A Bona Fide Killer” now heading into its second half at the top of the charts, the real question is whether Flex x Cop 2 can keep climbing or whether this was its ceiling for the season.
