Fridays are usually the quiet night for Korean dramas. Not this time. SBS’s *Flex x Cop 2* just wrapped the first half of its run by posting its **best Friday numbers ever** — even though it still isn’t the night’s biggest show.

## Flex x Cop 2: Overview

On August 28, *Flex x Cop 2* pulled in an average nationwide rating of **6.7%**, according to Nielsen Korea — its highest Friday performance to date, in a slot where the show has historically trailed its Saturday numbers.

But MBC’s *A Bona Fide Killer*, airing in the same time slot, held firm at the top with a **9.0%** rating, keeping its title as the most-watched Friday-Saturday drama on air right now.

| Drama | Network | August 28 Rating | Status |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| A Bona Fide Killer | MBC | 9.0% | No. 1 in the slot |
| Flex x Cop 2 | SBS | 6.7% | Personal-best Friday rating |

## Why This Matters

Hitting a personal record while still finishing second says a lot about how competitive this particular time slot has become. *Flex x Cop 2* clearly has real Friday momentum heading into its second half — climbing ratings usually signal a show that’s pulling in new viewers, not just holding onto old ones. Meanwhile, *A Bona Fide Killer*‘s consistent dominance shows it has a firm grip on the audience for now.

These figures come from [Nielsen](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nielsen_TV_ratings)‘s ratings tracking system, the standard measurement used across the industry to determine a drama’s nationwide reach and relative popularity night to night.
