A chaebol detective, a mariachi disguise, and a criminal chase that crosses borders — Flex x Cop 2 wastes no time getting chaotic.

## What happens in the new preview

[Ahn Bo Hyun](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahn_Bo-hyun) reprises his role as Jin Yi Soo, the wealthy detective from Violent Crimes Unit 1, in a newly released Episode 1 teaser for Flex x Cop 2. The clip opens with Jin Yi Soo, Park Joon Young (Kang Sang Jun), and Choi Kyung Jin (Kim Shin Bi) flying overseas on Jin Yi Soo’s private jet, disguised as a mariachi band to corner a group of suspects inside a pub. After a chaotic brawl ends with all three criminals apprehended, the gang leader suddenly pulls a gun and points it straight at Jin Yi Soo, asking if he has a death wish.

## Why fans are excited

Jung Eun Chae joins the cast as Joo Hye Ra, Jin Yi Soo’s new veteran detective partner, adding fresh chemistry to a show built on the contrast between Jin Yi Soo’s wealth-fueled swagger and old-school police work. The overseas mission format gives Season 2 a bigger scale right out of the gate — private jets, disguises, and international manhunts — while still keeping the show’s trademark blend of humor and sudden danger. The tonal whiplash from comedic banter to a gun pointed at the lead character sets the stage for a season that’s leaning harder into stakes without losing its playful edge.
