A chaebol detective. A crime boss who doesn’t flinch. One rifle pointed dead center. New stills from **Flex x Cop 2** are teasing a jaw-dropping standoff between Ahn Bo Hyun’s Jin Yi Soo and special guest star Heo Sung Tae, and the internet is already buzzing about it.

## What’s Happening in the New Stills

Ahn Bo Hyun returns as Jin Yi Soo, the third-generation chaebol heir turned detective who treats his money and connections like cheat codes whenever a case hits a wall. This season, he’s paired with veteran detective Joo Hye Ra, played by Jung Eun Chae, as his new partner.

The twist this episode: Heo Sung Tae steps in for a special appearance as Ham Sung Wook, a powerful crime boss surrounded by his men and radiating quiet menace in a sharp suit. In the newly released images, Jin Yi Soo aims a rifle straight at him — playful smile intact, edge fully sharpened — while Ham Sung Wook stares back, completely unbothered.

## Why This Scene Matters

Heo Sung Tae has built a career playing characters who unsettle audiences without raising their voice, and casting him as a boss unfazed by a gun in his face fits that reputation perfectly. The real hook isn’t the weapon — it’s the mystery behind why Jin Yi Soo has him in his sights, and what Ham Sung Wook is actually hiding.

Chaebol-heir-turned-detective is a familiar setup in Korean television, part of a broader tradition of crime dramas blending class commentary with procedural mystery, a genre trend documented on [Wikipedia’s overview of Korean drama](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_drama).
