## Charm as an Investigative Tool

Rather than a standard interrogation, Jin Yi Soo takes a very different approach — visiting the hotel’s room attendants directly in their break room, armed with an assortment of premium hotel desserts for what’s essentially a “tribute party.” His easygoing charisma wins the staff over almost instantly, and newly released stills show them eagerly sharing behind-the-scenes secrets while he listens closely, careful not to miss a single detail.

Joo Hye Ra, meanwhile, watches the scene unfold with a satisfied smile, amused by her partner’s unconventional but clearly effective methods — setting up what looks like a mix of humor and genuine detective work as the investigation deepens.

This blend of comedic charm and procedural crime-solving fits into a broader tradition of buddy-cop storytelling that pairs contrasting personalities to drive both humor and tension, a format widely explored in general discussions of the [buddy cop film](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddy_cop_film) genre and its television adaptations.
