It’s not the first time we have had spotted Intel’s upcoming 8-core flagship CPU in action but this time, the Geekbench result seems more accurate than ever. The results are incredible and way beyond what we have saw in past couple of weeks.
The 8 core, 16 threaded CPU has a max all-core boost of 4.8GHz and 3.5GHz base clock speeds whereas the single-core boost goes up to a whopping 5.3GHz. Until now it was spotted on Cinebench, CPU-Z, Ashes of Singularity benchmarks but this is the first time it has made entry to Geekbench.
The Core i9-11900K has blown the competition scoring a massive 1892 points in single-core and a pretty impressive 10934 points in multi-core. This is the highest single-core score ever and this could definitely end AMD’s short term dominance in gaming market.
While in multi-core scores, the Core i9-11900K just manages to beat the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X by a narrow margin which scores 10427 points. Overall, the upcoming Intel flagship looks crazy on paper while the single-core results are just mind-blowing!
