Finalissima 2022: Italy vs Argentina set to be held in Wembley on 1st June

UEFA and CONMEBOL signed a renewed and extended Memorandum of Understanding on 15th December 2021. The winners of the Copa America 2020 and Euro 2020 will now face off against each other in the Finalissima 2022.

The current European Champions Italy will play against South American champions Argentina. The Finalissima 2022 match will be held in England’s Wembley stadium on 1st June 2022. The match will kickstart at 1:15 am IST (2nd June 2022).

The European champions and South American champions have met for the Artemio Franchi Trophy twice before in history. France won against Uruguay in 1985 and Argentina defeated Denmark in 1993.

Wembley will have 86,000 capacity for the match between Italy and Argentina. Tickets for the match will go live on 24th March 2022. You can book your tickets online, via UEFA’s official website.
