As Qatar World Cup 2022 is knocking on the door, Netflix is going to release a brand-new sports docuseries focused on FIFA. The organization’s controversial history. The docuseries will hit on Netflix in November 2022, FIFA Unveiled will be an eye-opener for football or soccer fans across the world. Netflix has dropped a number of documentaries in current years desiring to expose high-profile organizations and businesses. The current examples contain the Boeing documentary show, The Social Dilemma also looks into prominent social media companies and Alex Gibney’s Dirty Money show. The other documentaries Netflix has been lined up in November 2022 contain Killer Dally, Ancient Apocalypse, and State of Alabama vs. Brittany Smith. 

The latest documentary will sit along with a slew of other sports documentary projects as Netflix has released a trailer for. we have got documentaries coming to Netflix over the coming years here. 

FIFA Uncovered: Plot 

From power struggle to global politics an exploration of FIFA exposes the organization’s checkered history, and that takes to host a world cup.  since the decades, control of FIFA has seen many such internal, and external power also struggling in between some of the sport’s most influential figures. Joao Havelange and Lennart Johansson to Sopp Blatter and Michael Platini. There are some of the most powerful men in football have been at the epicenter of corruption allegations. 

There are such allegations, also has led to several football associations across the globe, and most importantly fans, questioning the decision-making behind those awarding world cups to specific nations. There are most recent examples are the 2018 Russian World Cup and the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

The decision to award Qatar as a host for the World Cup was heavily magnified around the world. This was the re2 World Cup, just imagine the small nation had such little infrastructure to accommodate a football tournament of that size. There is a middle-eastern nation. The heat in the summer is extreme that’s why the tournament has been moved from the Summer to Autumn/Winter. The logistical and infrastructure controversies are also on the top of the sports set to washing allegations of corruption. 

There are most of the past decade has also seen Qatar spending an eyewatering amount of money to make the infrastructure need to host a world cup that includes stadiums, training facilities, hotels, and completely in a new city.

The new reports confirm that FIFA Uncovered is set to be released on Netflix on 9th November 2022.

At the time of writing the episode count has not been exposed we are not expecting the episode count to exceed 6 episodes.
