# FIFA 23: Juventus returns to the game and puts an end to Piemonte Calcio

[Konami acquired Juventus FC’s exclusive license](https://technosports.co.in/2019/07/23/ea-sports-in-jeopardy-after-konami-acquires-juventus-license/) three years ago. This meant Konami could feature original player names, Allianz Stadium, official kits, crest and more in their Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) video game.

Therefore, Juventus was renamed Piemonte Calcio in FIFA 20 and was given a generic crest and stadium. However, as Juventus’ agreement with Konami ended, EA Sports have once again acquired the license of Juventus.

Starting from FIFA 23, Juventus will have its authentic name, crest, Allianz Stadium, etc in the game. Piemonte Calcio won’t be required anymore to represent them. So after 3 years, Juventus is back in FIFA 23 following an exclusive multi-year partnership.

## FIFA 23: Juventus returns to the game and puts an end to Piemonte Calcio
