The content surrounding the World Cup in the FIFA Ultimate Team mode is available from Friday 11th November. There are many contents planned for FUT, with the release of World Cup Path To Glory players, FUT 23 World Cup Heroes, etc.

From the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition account, we got 88-rated Landon Donovan as our World Cup Hero. His stats are great, with notable ones being 90 pace and 92 shooting. He can play as an RM, CAM, CF, and ST. So there are a lot of options for playing him and he is also quite good in-game.
From the EA Play Pro account, we got a better World Cup Hero, 89-rated Tomas Brolin. This card is also another insane card with 90 pace, 92 shot and 92 dribbling. He can play as ST, CAM, CF and RW. He is also from Serie A so can give strong links to many players and is easier to link.
