FIFA 22: How to do the Mid Icon Upgrade SBC and is it worth doing?

Icons are one of the best cards available in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team throughout the year. They are always on 10 chem if you put them in their right positions and also gives a link to every card. They are usually very good in game and are always in high demand.

EA Sports introduced the Mid Icon Upgrade SBC to give the players a chance to get their hands on the second-lowest versions of the Icon cards. The SBC requires 4 squads.

Is the Mid Icon Upgrade SBC worth doing?

The main dilemma regarding this pack is whether you will get a good icon as this is not a player pick that you can choose from. The chances of getting an Icon worth more than the SBC is not that great. But if you manage to pack the base version of Pele, Maradona, Ronaldo, Zidane, Cantona, Ronaldinho, Gullit, Cruyff, Daglish etc it can be great for your FUT team.

I managed to pull an insane card from this SBC. I got 90-rated CM Ruud Gullit. He is one of the best centre midfielders out in the game. He is priced at around 5,000,000 FIFA coins as of now.

Let’s look into his stats in detail:

Gullit is 6’3″ tall which gives him the advantage to win most of the aerial battles. He has 4* skill move and 5* weak foot which is absolutely great. He also has a high attacking work rate and a medium defensive work rate.

Most of you know this previously, that all the card stats of Gullit is greater than 80. He can run, shoot, give assists and even track back and defend. He is a perfect centre midfielder.

Gullit has gone straight into my team. He plays as a box-to-box midfielder for me. He feels great on the ball and with his solid player trait, he wins a lot of the ball in the middle of the park.

Spending around 350,000 FIFA coins on this Mid Icon Upgrade SBC, I have managed to get an insane Icon, 90-rated CM Ruud Gullit who is priced at around 5,000,000 FIFA coins. So, yes for me this SBC is worth it.
