FIFA 22: EA Sports re-introduce Preview Packs in the game alongside standard packs

FIFA 22 has been officially announced and will hit stores worldwide on 1st October. You can also pre-order it and get early access to the game. EA Sports has brought Hypermotion technology to FIFA 22 to give it a fluid feel. Unfortunately, the PC version will not have the new technology as it is only coming to the console and Stadia releases.

EA said in July that “bringing HyperMotion technology and Immersive Match Day features to PC would have raised the minimum spec requirements and resulted in a large proportion of players unable to run the game.”

As the game is about to launch in about a week, EA Sports has revealed some of the features of the FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. They have brought back Preview Packs in the game after they received a strong positive response after first introducing them in FIFA 21.

Preview Packs are a pack type that allows you to see all the specific Items contained within the pack. Once you have seen what is in the pack, you can choose to buy the pack, with either FUT Coins or FIFA Points.

FIFA 22 – OTW: Everything you need to know about the Ones to Watch player item releases in the game

EA Sports wrote in an official release: “Following a positive reception from fans after their introduction in FIFA 21, Preview Packs will be available in FIFA 22 on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Stadia and PC.”

The following packs will be available from the launch of FIFA 22:

  • The Premium Gold Pack will be available for Preview on a 24 hour refresh timer alongside the non-Preview version.
  • The Premium Silver Pack will be available for Preview on a 24 hour refresh timer alongside the non-Preview version.

However, normal standard packs will also be available in the game. But the full-time introduction of Preview packs is a good thing for the FIFA Community as the players would be saved from unnecessary money spending.

FIFA 22 is now up for Pre Order. There are two versions, Ultimate and Standard edition. The Ultimate edition comes for Rs 4,299 while the Standard edition is priced at Rs 2,999. If you already own the previous version of FIFA, you can get a 10% discount on FIFA 22.

If you order the FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition, you will receive:

  • Ones to Watch Player item
  • 4 Days Early Access
  • 4600 FIFA Points
  • Team of the Week 1 Player item
  • Kylian Mbappé Loan item
  • FUT Ambassador Loan Player Pick
  • Career Mode Homegrown Talent
