Former England international, Alex Scott is set to become the first-ever female English commentator to feature in EA Sports’ FIFA franchise.
The BBC and Sky Sports’ football pundit earned 140 caps for England during her 16-year playing career. At the club level, she played for Arsenal, Birmingham, and US side Boston Breakers.
She follows in the footsteps of Spanish presenter Nira Juanco, who became the very first female commentator in the history of the FIFA video game. Former Arsenal and West Ham player Stewart Robson will be also be joining Alex Scott as a pitchside reporter in FIFA 22.

Scott took to Twitter and wrote: “Happy to finally share the news that I joined the FIFA family and will be commentating for #FIFA22! This is a big moment for FIFA, for football and women and girls across the world. It’s also a big moment for me personally and professionally.”
