## The Storylines That Matter

**Manolo’s Gaurs, hungry again.** FC Goa arrive into ISL 2025-26 as India’s form team — Super Cup winners in December, quarter-finalists in the AFC Champions League Two. With Serbian attacker **Dejan Drazic** firing in pre-season and new striker signings **Ishan Pandita** and **Daniel Lalhlimpuia** adding firepower, Goa look sharp.

**Habas brings Kashi to the top flight.** Antonio López Habas is arguably the most decorated coach in Indian football history — two ISL titles, an ISL Shield, and now an I-League triumph. His I-League winners Inter Kashi earned promotion after picking up 42 points in 22 league games, and now bring genuine quality in **Mario Barco** — a striker with 18 I-League goals and 13 assists for the club.

> *“Inter Kashi is a very good team with a very experienced coach — someone who has won everything in India.”* — Manolo Márquez, FC Goa Head Coach

## Key Players to Watch

**Dejan Drazic (FC Goa):** The Serbian is FC Goa’s only remaining foreign attacker after the January exits of Guarrotxena and Siverio. His versatility across the front line — and two pre-season goals — make him Goa’s most dangerous weapon.

**Mario Barco (Inter Kashi):** The Spanish striker brings proven Indian football pedigree. With 18 goals and 13 assists in the I-League for Kashi, he steps into the ISL as a legitimate threat.
