FC Goa head coach Juan Ferrando has left the club, after triggering his release clause. He will be replacing Antonio Habas as the next head coach of ATK Mohun Bagan. The decision has been made all of a sudden, and it has left the FC Goa board with no room for discussion or negotiation.

Here is what the FC Goa president, Akshay Tandon had to say about the issue via his Twitter account:

> With disappointment I'd like to confirm that [@JuanFerrandoF](https://twitter.com/JuanFerrandoF?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) has triggered his release clause, obliging us to release him of his duties so that he can join @atkmohunbaganfc. As long the money gets deposited in our accounts, we do not have a choice in his decision.
