For years, Ultimate Team players have juggled between the game and third-party sites for squad planning and market tracking. EA Sports is finally bridging that gap, launching the FC Community API — an official way to link account data with select community platforms.

## What’s Changing

Starting July 27, 2026, two approved websites — FUT.GG and FUTWIZ — can now connect directly to certain EA SPORTS FC 26 account data, enabling more personalized tools and insights for players who use these platforms alongside Ultimate Team.

## FC Community API: Key Details

| Detail | Information |
| --- | --- |
| Feature Name | FC Community API |
| Launch Date | July 27, 2026 |
| Approved Sites | FUT.GG, FUTWIZ |
| Data Shared | Ultimate Team players, formations, tactics |
| Data Retention | Up to 28 days (resets on new request) |
| Login Credentials Shared | No — passwords stay with EA |
| Third-Party Requests Accepted | Not currently |

## How It Actually Works

Connecting isn’t mandatory — players choose whether to link their account through a secure EA login flow, granting the site permission to pull specific data without ever exposing passwords or login credentials. If a site’s data pull period lapses without renewal, information is deleted after 28 days, and any player can disconnect at will.

## A Word of Caution

EA has been explicit that only FUT.GG and FUTWIZ are authorized at launch — any other website claiming FC API access should not be trusted, since it isn’t sanctioned by EA and could pose security risks.

## Why It Matters

This update reflects EA listening to years of community feedback around deeper, safer third-party integration for squad building and content planning. For the full official breakdown, visit [EA Sports’ official FC 26 news page](https://www.ea.com/games/ea-sports-fc/fc-26/news).
