After a not so good 2021/22 season, Barcelona are already planning for their next season. They are close to bring Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich as their statement signing for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
FC Barcelona has now released their new home kit for the 2022/23 season. The new home kit celebrates the 30th anniversary of Barcelona hosting the Olympic Games in 1992. According to Barcelona’s official website: “Its design evokes the spirit of that period of regeneration and redefinition, a time when Barcelona opened up to the world and the world opened up to Barcelona.”
“30 years ago, the city took a huge leap forward into modernity by hosting the Olympic Games, but at the same time conserving its spirit and roots. As the present era is also one of such major changes to the first team squad, the club has decided to draw on and share that Olympic spirit at a time when its efforts are very much focused on the future.”

The new 2022/23 home kit which the players will wear during the match and the replica jerseys which are made for the fans are made from 100 per cent recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles.
Spotify debuts as the main sponsor of Barcelona from the upcoming season after agreeing on a deal.
Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez and president Joan Laporta both were seen unveiling the new home kit for the 2022/23 season.
Barcelona also revealed a new offer for the fans “Shirt for life”.
According to their official website: “On the occasion of the launch, FC Barcelona is also unveiling a new action involving all fans who purchase the home shirt at the Barça Store or the club’s e-commerce outlets between June 3 and 30. They will all be entered for a draw to win a lifetime supply of shirts.”
“From the 2023/24 season and for the rest of their life, the winner of the draw held before a notary will be receiving the latest official home shirt every year.”
