Abhishek Sharma holds the record for the fastest T20I century by an Indian batsman, achieving the feat in the 3rd T20I against Afghanistan on September 17, 2026. Opening the innings, the left-hander went after the bowlers from the very first ball, tearing the attack apart all around the park. He brought up his century in just 30 deliveries and eventually finished unbeaten on 108 off 34 balls, striking at a phenomenal rate of over 317, studded with 9 fours and 11 sixes.
