Farhan Akhtar to buckle us up for an intense and emotional military drama on the big screen — 120 Bahadur. Finally, Excel Entertainment, which is run by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, and Amit Chandrra’s Trigger Happy Studios have announced that the film will be released on November 21, 2025.

A Story of Valor and Patriotism

The film, 120 Bahadur is a tribute to Major Shaitan Singh, a Param Vir Chakra recipient along with the brave soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment who showed unmatched bravery during the 1962 India-China war. It is housed on a historic narrative of the Battle of Rezang La, where the soldiers’ devotion to the country was unmatched.

The movie will dramatically portray their courage, sacrifice, and patriotism in the face of the impossible. Farhan Akhtar, a veteran of many hats as an actor, director, and producer revealed a poster of the film, adding that it is about the theme of valor.

In his post, he wrote, “120 Bahadur is our tribute to the valor and the indomitable spirit of Major Shaitan Singh and his brave men, who stood their ground against insurmountable odds.” He further expressed a special salute to the Ahir community, whose sons played a crucial role in the defense.

The film marks the directorial comeback of Razneesh Ghai (Dhaakad) and is expected to be an emotionally moving story that pays homage to the soldiers who fought for the country’s freedom. Farhan Akhtar plays a key role in the movie, which is a nice bonus.
