Shashi Kapoor’s grandson Zahaan Kapoor’s debut in the film ‘Faraaz‘. The acting of Zahan Kapoor just conquers the heart of the fans. This is a new thriller by Hansal Mehta. Hanshal Mehta’s new thriller Faraaz dropped by T-Series.
The new trailer is two minutes long and starts with a glimpse of the customers celebrating their meals at the Holey Artesian cage in Dhaka, Bangladesh just on 1st July 2016. Zahaan Kapoor the grandson of Kunal Kapoor features in the new trailer as one of the customers.
The story follows people taking a quiet meal in the evening, while several terrorists come in and shoot the people randomly. The son of actor Paresh Rawal also appears in this film. However, the Bangladeshi Police come to draw up their plan to bring the hostages out of the grip of the terrorist. At that time the character of Aditya says Zahaan, “Faraaz Hussain, Bangladesh ka Shehzada (Bangladesh’s prince)?”
The age of Faraaz was 20 years old and was killed in the 2016 attack. He was the grandson of Latifur Rahman. While the cop making the plan for an attack, Zahaan has seen to protect children and battles with Zahaan to be pushed by Aditya’s character and ask about his requirements. He replies,” Tum Jaeso se apna Islam wapas chahiye,”
While talking about the storyline, Hansal had told the news agency,” To me, Faraaz is a story of our polarized times. The one event that rocked Dhaka in the 2016 attack on the Holey Aryisa violence that is really driving those young, vulnerable minds toward it.
He has added,”Designed as a nail-biting thriller that plays out over one tense night, my attempt with Faraaz has also been to shine a light on the immense courage and humanity that it takes to stand up against violence. Because standing up against bigotry and the carnage it triggers is the only way to defeat it,”

Faraaz has been produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, Anubhav Sinha’s Benaras Mediaworks along with Mahana Films. The movie the grand world premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in 2022.
