The Story Line
Far Cry 6 is not like the previous ones of this series; its story is entirely standalone. The story takes place in the present, the modern world. You will play on Yara island, a country that is totally isolated from the rest of the world for the reason of economic sanctions.
Release Date
In August 2020, the game was revealed for the first time and said to be released in February 2021. But due to the pandemic situation, the release date has been pushed back, and now no official release date is confirmed yet for Far Cry 6.
Compatibility
Far Cry 6 will be a cross-gen release, and currently, the game is going to launch for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and Google Stadia and PC.
Multiplayer Option
Far Cry 6 will have co-op play like the previous ones in the series, which will allow the players to join and go through the adventures together. But, on the story missions, you have to play solo.

Ubisoft has informed previously that Far Cry 6 will feature a season pass for post-launch content. Now we have to wait and see what the developers bring following its launch.
