Netflix has come up with a new agreement with Sony Pictures in the US. There is many new Sony film coming for the service and Sont is generating many incredible titles for the streaming service across the world.
In 2021, Netflix and Sony have signed a landmark deal in April 2021 to get Sony’s feature movies for service in the coveted pay-1 window. It indicates any Sony theatrical releases are arriving on Netflix 6 months after they have debuted in theatres.
The deal just grown beyond theatrical releases. In 2022 there two direct-to-video films come from Netflix. It seems we are also continuing to watch Netflix purchasing the global rights to Sony films or Sony Pictures exclusively produced for Netflix.
Sony Movies to hit on Netflix Globally
Sine the years we have seen many Sony films skip cinemas and provided to Netflix instead of money, mainly during the pandemic. Examples are Vivo, The Mitchells Vs. The Machines, Wish Dragon, and Fatherhood.
The current resources reveal that K-Pop: Demon Hunters from Sony Animation is also set to give a big jump over to Netflix but there is no such official confirmation if that yet from Netflix just yet.
