International cricket was at a halt since the start of the pandemic. After a long break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Team India is finally going to start their international action against Australia this week.

Indian Team recently revealed their new jersey. They will wear the retro jersey in the upcoming tour. The jersey is inspired by the ’70s with a navy blue shade. It reminds the legendary jersey of the 1992 World Cup.

While the retro kits are generally well-received by fans but it seems Indian fans are not happy with the new jersey of Team India. There are unlimited trolls that are going on in social media. Some fans are mocking the jersey as ‘Billboard’. Some are mocking the upcoming series as ‘BYJU VS Australia’.

The jersey is full of the name of sponsors i.e. BYJU’s and MPL. Fans are unhappy to see the manner in which the names of the sponsors are written. According to some fans it is missing the grace what an Indian jersey should have.

Virat Kohli’s man will play a total of 10 games in the Australia tour. Out of the 3 will be ODI’s, 3 T20’s and 4 Tests. Recently according to the new point system, the Indian team slipped down to the second position in the Test rankings and lost their place to Australia. Virat Kohli’s man will surely want to get better of their fiercest rivals and want to get back to the top again.
