The Fallout TV series has hit yet another significant milestone, as the show’s official Twitter account (x) has revealed that more than 100 million viewers worldwide have shown to watch. As a result, Fallout has now become the second most watched show on Amazon Prime Video behind fan favorite The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, with its second season set to finish tomorrow.

This achievement is a testament to the success of the first season, developed by Kilter Films, Amazon MGM Studios, and Bethesda Game Studios. Created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the show has captured audiences thanks to its compelling storylines and fascinating world. While nothing is certain in terms of renewal, showrunners did recently suggest the Fallout series could last as long as five seasons because of its popularity.

The first season garnered an impressive 16 nominations at the Primetime Emmy Awards, including categories such as Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes, Outstanding Stunt Coordination for Drama Programming, and Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Period or Fantasy Program. Although it won only in the Outstanding Music Supervision category, the numerous nominations reflect the show’s high production quality and storytelling excellence.

Now that the end is nigh, fans are clamoring for season 2 — which takes our heroes to New Vegas, a favorite location from the classic Fallout: New Vegas game. A couple of images have also elicited some excitement from viewers, who want to see how the series re-frames this traditional location.

Bethesda, of course, is still adding new stuff to Fallout 76 after a shot in the arm for player numbers in the wake of the series release on Prime Video. Recently, the Milepost Zero update added Legendary Crafting, new respec features like Best Builds for C.A.M.P. placements, and combat reorganization in the game. Players will also get a new questline which is all about helping caravans through the Shenandoah region as they look to personal outposts and quests that come.
