With the January transfer window only days away, Noah Sadaoui was shockingly linked with a transfer to Mohun Bagan SG. The reason behind the rumours was a change in his club on Transfermarkt. According to the website, the FC Goa winger was set to complete the move on January 10, 2024.Â
However, it has now been confirmed by transfer insider Marcus Mergulhao of the TOI that the rumour is fake. The winger is set to stay at FC Goa at the end of the season, as he is a vital part of their project for the current season.Â
Noah Sadaoui linked with false Mohun Bagan SG transfer rumoursÂ
The 30-year-old has scored four goals in eight ISL games, assisting one. He made headlines for his brace against Mohun Bagan SG, as they defeated them 4-1 to retain their spot at the top of the table.
The Moroccan also starred in their Durand Cup 2023 run, scoring an eye-catching six goals in five games for the Gaurs. He laid the foundations for their impressive season right there, and has been an instrumental part of their attack thus far.
Noah Sadaoui arrived in Goa last summer, scoring and assisting nine each in 20 ISL games last year. But with the hugely improved performance of the team this season, his contributions are shining through even more.
