They are eager to complete the deal quickly to register the 22-year-old for UEFA competition. There are also rumours that Manchester United have included a sell-on clause in the deal, which could go up to 50%.

The winger spent the latter half of last season on loan at Granada, and spent another loan spell at Alaves for a year and a half. However, he failed to make a substantial impact and is now being moved on with one year remaining on his current deal.
The youngster is undoubtedly talented, but United are stacked in the wide positions for the first team. As a result, they are moving him on for a sizeable amount given they spent €8.5 million on him in 2020.
Panathinaikos are one of the top sides in Greece, and with the level of football considerably lower than Spain and England, it remains to be seen if Facundo Pellistri can reach his full potential.
