Facebook Messenger App is now available in Desktop for Windows and macOS

Yesterday, Facebook launched the desktop app of Facebook Messenger for Windows and macOS. Now, you need not use the browser in your PC for the messenger use.

The use of technology to stay connected is increasing day by day. Especially in this COVID-19 fear days. As per the company, the use of the desktop browser for audio, as well as video calling just doubled is last month. For this desktop app version of Messenger users can enjoy the calls over the internet more easily.

Now you can connect with up to eight people through video call at a time staying at your desktop. Get notified when someone texts you while doing something else. You can easily access the chatbox by popping up it, after reply you can pop the box down. It’s that easy.

If you got irritated by text notifications, then snooze or mute option is also there. Both the apps, in your phone and desktop will always be synced. So, don’t worry about losing chats. The dark theme is also there.

You can download it from the Microsoft Store or from the Mac App Store. Mark Zuckerberg on his official Facebook account posted, “Group video calls and messages on our apps have surged — Messenger use on the desktop has more than doubled in the last month. These new native apps will make the experience a lot better. I hope you enjoy!”
