Facebook Corona Helpdesk has developed a Chatbot that will provide you all kinds of necessary information regarding COVID-19 to stop the spread of misinformations that are surfacing in various social media platforms.
Facebook is providing these chatbots on its various social media platforms like Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The Chatbot in Messenger has both English and Hindi language capabilities. To contact the Chatbot, users can go to the Facebook page on MyGov Corona Hub and then start a chat by typing ‘Get Started’, which will prompt them to either type in a query or choose from a list of frequently asked questions.
By choosing any of the desired FAQs the user will be led to some pieces of information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) which can be some text messages or videos shared by the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Cooperations. All these are done to spread awareness among the common people and to stop the meaningless misinformations.
