Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement with Napoli for the signing of Fabian Ruiz. The deal has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano, which means it is only a matter of time before his arrival is made official.
The two clubs have reached an agreement over a fee worth €23 million for the Spaniard. He only had one year remaining on his contract, and was being discussed by Real Madrid as a free signing in 2023. But since he is highly rated by sporting director Luis Campos, the club have gone ahead and signed him this year itself to prevent a race.
Fabian Ruiz to join PSG soon
Since the appointment of Campos as the new sporting director, the midfield has been one of the first positions that has been improved upon. Renato Sanches and Vitinha have been added to the team to add more stability. And now, Fabian Ruiz is set to join them as well.
The player will be signing a contract until 2027, and will be flying to Paris tomorrow to complete his medical for the transfer. Once he has passed the medical and has signed the contract, the move will be made official by the club.
PSG drew with Monaco in their most recent game, and will be hopeful of bouncing back with a win against Toulouse.
