Chris Hemsworth incredible power-pack action film Extraction has had massive success in the Indian film industry. Now, this is the time for Extraction 2. Netflix has dropped the second trailer of the power-pack action-drama film Extraction 2. The most interesting fact is Chris Hemsworth is going to return to perform his role as Tyler Rake.
As one of the most successful films, it’s not quite surprising that the sequel is in the works. With the 99 million households tuning in to the stream of the film, it has even outshone the likes of The Bird Box, Murder Mystery, and definitely 6 Underground.
Sam Hargrave will come back as the director of the sequel along with the Russo Brothers who serve as the executive producer. The credit for the writing goes to Joe Russo.
Extraction 2: Production Status
Extraction 2, was mainly scheduled to start its filming in Sydney, Australia, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, the entire production had moved to Prague, Czech Republic.
Hemsworth announced on his Instagram that production for Extraction 2 is scheduled to commence in late November 2021. The shooting for the film wrapped up on March 19, 2022, and is currently in the post-production phase. Netflix showcased exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of Extraction 2 during their recent TUDUM event on September 24.

The highly anticipated second trailer has given a glimpse of a jaw-dropping one-shot action scene with the dominating command of Tyler Rake. The brand-new trailer is two minutes and thirty-seven seconds long. The trailer kicks off with Chris Hemsworth aka Tyler Rake sitting on a snowy mountain, a voice-over is saying him, that he is clinically dead nine months ahead, but he survived. The trailer shows how he had been rescued. After this, we have seen Chris Hemsworth doing hard training to get back into his shape. The lady is motivating Tyler Rake, as to why he needs to be alive.
After this, the trailer continues with Chris Hemsworth’s power pack action scene, while he is in a train, and a group of goons hijacked the train. In the first Extraction film, we have seen Tyler Rake had taken a risk of his life to rescue a boy. This time, Tyler Rake also has got a contract from a client. The client wants him to do the job. Tyler Rake has engaged in this mission to fulfill client requirements. In one scene we have seen Chris Hemsworth running by picking up a girl child in his hand. He has rescued two children and moved with them safely in a car.
While he has asked, whether he already knows this girl or not, the trailer takes us to the time when Tyler and the girl are in the lift. On the opposite of the lift door, a group of enemies is waiting with weapons. As soon as the door opens, a grande has exploded, and Tyler enters with the gun, firing like heavy rain. The trailer contains several heart-warming action sequences. In one scene we have seen Chris Hemsworth in his ultimate action mode, knocking down one by one enemy single-handedly. At the end of the trailer, Chris Hemsworth aka Tyler Rake has really found out the reason for staying alive.

Extraction 2: Plot
After surviving with difficulty, he grieves getting wound from his mission in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Tyler Rake is returns, and his entire team getting ready to move on with his next mission. In this second adaptation it has been tasked with extracting a family at the mercy of a Georgian gangster, Tyler has infiltrated one of the world’s most deadly prisons to protect them. While the extraction gets hot, and the gangster has died in the heat of battle, now his ruthless brother has tracked down Rake and his team to Sydney to take revenge.
This time the story follows a girlchild who is sitting in a room and shrinking her leg. The greenish-dark ambiance really boosted the thrill, suddenly a voice come, ‘Hey, move’. After listening to this she has come forwards, and the voice is from Chris Hemsworth. In a snowy street, a gang of people engages in a big fight, and Chris Hemsworth is like chopping the enemies one by one.
Chris and the girl lay down on the street as Chris covers the girl and tells her to pull the pin of the grenade. After this, he throws it into the air, and a blast happens. In between this fight Chris Hemsworth becomes wounded, and fell down on the street, there is an automated voice saying, ‘You were clinically dead nine months ago.’
Chris Hemsworth has been admitted to the hospital, and after a few months, he opened his eyes. However, the teaser once again returns to the battlefield, while Tyler aka Chris Hemsworth is knocking down enemies one by one. In between, this one man put up the girl and start running.
On the other side, Chris Hemsworth is burning with fire but giving one-by-one powerful punches to the enemies. The teaser shows several incredible stunts and action scenes. As the teaser proceeds we have seen Chris Hemsworth firing a helicopter and blasting it in his own way. This time the main question is, ‘Will Chris Hemsworth be able to rescue the girl?’

In the second adaptation of Extraction, we will see Chris Hemsworth might be coming to surprise his role as Tyler Rake, and Adam Bessa will return to play the role of Yaz. The actress Rayna Campbell was featured in Extraction as a radio tech for Niki’s role of Ruthie. We will see Georgian model actress Tinatin Dalakishivii joining the cast Ketevan.
