WPT (World Poker Tour) is one of the most prestigious names in the world of Poker. The WPT television show airs in over 150 countries and territories, and the production of its 18th season is underway. This year, in association with Adda52, India’s leading online Poker platform, WPT is all set to take another step towards expanding its footprints in India. Following the record-breaking success of last year’s WPT Online event, the Indian Poker giant has been again chosen by WPT as its exclusive partner. Adda52 will play host to WPT Online India 2021, running from 1st to 30th August. The tournament series will feature INR 25 Crore guarantee in prizes, spread across 800 plus events catering to every player category with 45 trophies up for grabs.
The highlight of the series is the INR 499 buy-in WPT Unreal, which gives away a gigantic INR 1 Crore guarantee and features 30 entry events from 1st to 29th August. Surviving players from all the entry events will battle it out for the lion’s share of the prize pool on 29th August.
The entry to the prestigious WPT Main Event offering 3 crore guaranteed in prizes will start from 22nd August. The INR 16,500 buy-in event will have 10 entry events, which are scheduled to run for 8 days (22nd to 29th August). All selected participants from these 8 days will fight it out for the most coveted title in the Indian Poker circuit on 29th August, during which the champion will be crowned.
