Dominik Szoboszlai recently secured a move to RB Leipzig from their sister club, RB Salzburg in Austria after enjoying a breakout season in the Austrian Bundesliga.

The player’s agent, Matyas Esterhazy joined Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio in conversation regarding the move on the pair’s Here We Go podcast on Patreon. When asked about the first time he saw Szoboszlai play, here is what Esterhazy had to say:

“I used to play football earlier, so I had a lot of teammates training and playing football, doing scouting when they were younger. Seeing Dominik was a very different feeling. Whether the potential will rise or not is something you never know and it is something that was visible right then and there.”

The Hungarian is touted as one of the players for the future, and will almost certainly end up making an impact at Leipzig. The journalists also predicted a lot more discussions regarding Szoboszlai’s future on the podcast, meaning that there could be big things in store for the youngster.

For now, his job at hand is learning and developing under one of the most prolific young coaches in the world by the name of Julian Nagelsmann, and it is no doubt that he will be watched closely not only by fans but also by the bigger clubs.
