Recent reports suggest that that the mega Auction biddings will be held during the first week of January. This year’s Mega Auction will be financially bigger than it has been in any previous season since 10 franchises will try to snag the best players instead of the usual 8. While 10 teams did play in IPL 2011, the funding was nowhere near as high in 2011.
