Crossplay is very soon coming to Destiny 2 and Bungie revealed the system work at the launch. When the Crossplay is going too switched on players will be able to play with other players or guardians who are across every Destiny 2 platform like PC, PS4, PS5, etc.
There are some features which not going to be perfect right at the time like the voice chat across platform option would not be perfectly active when the service goes live. Bungies keep working to fix these things and other issues and make sure voice chat across the platform option should be on very soon.
Release date of Crossplay
The date when the Crossplay will come to Destiny 2 is not confirmed yet. But Bungie informed players this feature will be released very soon in the Season 15 of the game. This Season 15 will begin on 24th August.
The name making
If players do not want to be stuck with an embarrassing name then this section is really important to read. Because when this feature will be launched players cannot be able to change their name for a while. Bungie Name will be set based on the first platform players going to use in Season 15.
Add friend option
Players can play with friends also. For playing with friends from various platforms players firstly need to log in to Bungie.net. After that players need to choose the option Friends finder. In this section, players can able to link different platforms and add friends.
Rules for matchmaking
There are some rules. Some of those are
- “PC players will match with other PC players”
- “Console and Stadia players will match with other console and Stadia players”
- “Fireteams with any combination of PC players and console players will match in the PC player pool”
