Everything left to play for on the final matchday of LaLiga

LaLiga has been the most entertaining league in Europe this season, with Atletico Madrid outperforming their stronger rivals, Real and Barcelona. The Rojiblancos head into the final day with a big task ahead of them. They must win their match against Valladolid to secure their first league title in seven years.

Real Madrid are the only club who can take that away from them. Should Real win, and Atletico lose, they will win the title by a single point. However, should Atletico draw and Real win, then Los Merengues will win the title due to their better head to head record Vs their city rivals.

The Europa League spots still have competition for them. Real Betis and Villareal have 58 points each while Real Sociedad have 59. Betis lead Villareal currently, and will face Celta Vigo tomorrow to secure a Europa League spot.

The three teams are close on points, but only two will qualify for the Europa League and one will drop down to the inaugural Europa Conference League. However, should Villareal defeat Manchester United in the finals of the Europa League, they will qualify for the Champions League next season.

The relegation battle is also yet to be decided. Eibar have already been decided, but Valladolid, Elche and Huesca are in contention to survive the drop. Only one of them can be safe, and they all face strong opposition. Should Atelti beat Valladolid, their relegation will be confirmed. The only other battle lies between Huesca and Elche, both level on points at 33.
