Find Out Everything About the Moto X40 Launch Date

The Find N2 and the Find N2 Flip, Oppo’s upcoming foldable smartphones, will be unveiled on December 15th, the company has confirmed. On the designated date, other companies besides Oppo will also introduce new products. The Moto X40 will debut on December 15 according to an official announcement from Motorola today.

This device will debut as the Moto Edge X30’s successor, which made its debut in December 2021. The Edge X30 will be known as the Moto X40 because Motorola no longer uses the Edge branding for its products in China.

There are some rumours that the Moto X40 Pro will be the name of Motorola‘s upcoming flagship. But as of right now, the business hasn’t officially endorsed the aforementioned name.

Moto X40 is the upcoming Motorola flagship, which will debut on December 15. This model is said to replace the X40 in the global market, according to rumours surrounding the device. The Moto X40 is anticipated to be released worldwide in Q1 2023.

China’s TENAA and 3C agencies approved a Motorola phone in October under the model number XT2301-5.

Moto X40 features

A 6.67-inch OLED screen with curved edges will be available on the Moto X40. Full HD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate will be available. Under the hood of the Moto X40 is the mobile Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform. Up to 512 GB of storage and up to 18 GB of LPDDR5x RAM are included when it ships. Android 13 OS with My UI 5.0 will be used to power the device.

A 60-megapixel selfie camera will be available on the X40. The device will have three cameras on its back: a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. It is anticipated to be available with 4,500mAh and 5,000mAh battery options.

Although it has been seen using a 68W charger at 3C, it could also have a 125W fast charging capability. A device with an IP68 rating is also claimed for the X40.
